The province will provide just under $2 million for new mammography systems at workstations across the province. Lower Sackville’s Cobequid Community Health Centre, Dartmouth General Hospital, the IWK, Halifax Shopping Centre, Cape Breton Regional, Cape Breton mobile screening unit and Valley Regional in Kentville will get them. The Health Authority and IWK identified this equipment as a priority.
