Dumping Day has been delayed for the winter lobster season around the southwest coast from Halifax to Digby.
Blustery conditions prompted fishermen in 1,700 boats in Districts 33 and 34 to delay the start of the lucrative fishery till tomorrow for safety reasons. DFO made the decision yesterday after a conference call with fishing groups.
