Woman charged in convenience store robbery

The mother of Marissa June Shepard was in court yesterday in Moncton, according to the Times and Transcript.

Christine Helen Carson is charged with robbing the Circle K convenience store on Mountain Road of cigarettes Sunday.

Carson appeared distraught and a bail hearing was set for today. The judge also granted a Crown request for a no-contact order between Carson and her daughter, Shepard, who is facing a first degree murder trial next year in the Baylie Wylie killing.
