Two people were displaced by a fire yesterday afternoon that damaged one unit of a house with three apartments in Amherst.
The Red Cross is assisting with emergency lodging, food, clothing and other basics.
The fire was contained to an apartment at the rear of the building. Tenants of two apartments at the front of the structure were not affected.
No one was hurt.
