Man Arrested After Armed Robbery at Sydney Needs Store

A man is facing charges after an armed robbery at the Needs Convenience store on George Street early Saturday morning. Police say a man with his face covered entered the store with a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Neither the clerks or two other customers in the store were injured. Police responding to the robbery arrested a suspect a short distance away. A 28-year-old Sydney man if facing charges of armed robbery and disguise with intent.
