An elderly woman is dead after a car-pedestrian accident Thursday night.
Police were called to Bayside Drive just before 9:30 where a 78 year old woman was hit while crossing the street. She was taken to hospital where police say she succumbed to her injuries.
No name has been released and police are still investigating.
