Calls for a national dementia strategy

Health Minister Jane Philpott had tears as she spoke about her father’s struggle with dementia. She was commenting after the release of a Senate report recommending a national strategy to deal with the problem. The report suggested the government spend $30 million a year to ensure such a plan is adequately funded.

Philpott suggested the Trudeau Government plans to support such a national strategy.
