The IWK Health Centre is recognizing Thursday’s World Prematurity Day. Over 100 babies are born prematurely every year in Nova Scotia, with some nearly 17 weeks early and weighing less than a pound. Interactive educational events will take place at the hospital’s NICU on Thursday.
