A Glace Bay man has been charged after an assault early yesterday. Police responded to a Bruce Street residence around 3:45, where a fight outside led to the victim being hit with the suspect’s van. He’s in stable condition in a Halifax hospital, and 30-year-old James Russell Mauger faces Forcible Entry, Assault, Assault with a Weapon and a Breach of Probation.
