An item returns to Victoria Park

A Second World War-era 25 pounder field gun has been returned to Victoria Park, just in time for Remembrance Day.

It had been on display for more than 3 decades as a monument to Metro Moncton soldiers, but exposure to the weather left it corroded.

Atlantic Corrosion Services and Xtreme Powder Coating gave it a complete restoration at a cost of just under ten thousand dollars.
