The federal Liberal party was mentioned in leaked emails from Hilary Clinton’s campaign chair about an incident while they were in opposition.
Clinton’s staff weere apparently annoyed the Liberal party wanted to use Clinton’s appearance at a 2014 conference in Ottawa as a fund raising opportunity. An email from a top Clinton aide reads that there was some unhappiness that the Liberals wanted to make money from what was supposed to be an apolitical event.
