Following the January ice storm in Miramichi, officials with the Greater Miramichi Regional Service Commission are putting together an emergency information package for 18 thousand people.
It will have an emergency checklist telling what you should have in your home to deal with a prolonged power outage or an emergency weather situation.
The mail-out will also have guidelines about how to safely run a gas-powered generator.
The government will be holding a series of public meetings in April for feedback regarding the storm response.
A session has been set for Miramichi.
Dates, times; and locations have yet to be announced.
