The Anglophone South School District is still trying to figure out how it’s going to make up for all the snow days lost because of the storms.
Superintendent Zoe Watson told the Telegraph-Journal they have seven days to make up but she doubts they will have to extend the school year. She pointed out that has never been done in the province. Instead they are looking at possibly cancelling things such as specialĀ assemblies, guest speakers, class trips and so on. She says it’ll be up to individual principals to decide how their schools will meet education targets within the allotted time.
