A Halifax man is facing charges in the Valley after chases involving police there and on the South Shore.
42 year old Jason Roy Morgan is charged with assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failing to stop for police among other things.
Kings District RCMP tried to pull the car over initially in Waterville during the noon hour Tuesday after responding to an assault complaint…but the driver took off. Then RCMP spotted the suspect vehicle on Highway 103 near Mahone Bay then again on Highway 3 in Western Shore. They finally tracked the suspect down on an ATV trail in Gold River with the help of a K-9 unit.
Morgan was in Kentville court yesterday and remanded in custody until Monday when the Crown will try to have his bail revoked on a previous charge from last year.
