Council approves capital budget

Councillors have passed a capital budget for next year of $22.1 million, according to the Telegraph-Journal.

About a quarter of it will be spent on road work. $2.5 will be spent on five new buses with help from federal infrastructure funding. The city will be buying a new radio system for first responders and new guns for the police. Recreation facilities will be getting a little over $600,000 for repairs and upgrades.
