The family of Clayton Miller is calling for an independant investigation by somone from outside the province into the death of the New Waterford teen 27 years ago.
Their lawyer Ray Wagner says a witness has come forward to say there was an organized search of a brook the day before the teen’s body was discovered there. Bryan McDonald, who was a search co-ordinator, has said he was one of the searchers who did not see Miller’s body in that brook the day before it was found…and they couldn’t have missed it.
The Strategic Incident Response Team, which investigated the Miller case in 2014 and 2015, says it was told by the fire department there had not been a search of that area. SIRT says it will look into this latest information and what effect it has on its previous conclusions.
