A stolen vehicle full of teenagers threw fire extinguishers at police and eventually crashed into a bus in downtown Halifax on Friday night. Police say the vehicle fled a traffic stop on Novalea Drive around 9:43pm and were pursued by police along Gottigen Street. Occupants ofn the vehicle tossed fire extinguishers from the windows at police. A few minutes later the vehicle collided with a Halifax Transit bus on North Street causing the bus to crash into a brick wall. The driver of the bus was sent to hospital but no passengers were hurt. The four teens in the stolen vehicle fled on foot. They are described as three males and one female between the ages of 16 and 20. Police say the vehicle had been stolen from the Sackville area earlier this month.
