The Cumberland Opioid Council is getting $5225 in provincial funding. It’ll be used for its Investigating Community Readiness project, which will help county residents who use opioids and raise awareness about the issue. The Chronic Disease Innovation Fund will invest about $300,000 in 18 projects across the province.
