The province has announced a mental health grant for Richmond County seniors. $120,000 is for the county to help provide supports as needed.

Southend Community Centre to move to former Mira Road Elementary
The Southend Community Centre has a new building. The province has announced it’ll lease the old Mira Road Elementary School to the Southend Community Development Association for a dollar. The Centre had extensive water damage in the Thanksgiving Day flood, and had to be torn down.
