Nova Scotia has an agreement with Canadian Helicopters Limited for two new Sikorsky 76C+ air ambulances. EHS LifeFlight will have the new copters for August 1st, and they’re approved to land on H1 helipads. Transport times will be reduced by 10 to 25 minutes.

Federal funding for Springboard Atlantic
$9.2 million in federal funding has been announced for Springboard Atlantic. The network of 19 academic institutions works to turn research into new products and services. Money will support 30 commercialization officers region-wide over three years, to connect entrepreneurs with researchers.
