Snowfall records are being broken along BC’s south coast and southern interior.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings as the flurries have continued since Friday, with Chilliwack getting 80cms this weekend. The area usually only gets about 85 cm per winter.
Mold is threatening thousands of artifacts in the Mark Twain House & Museum in Connecticut.
The Hartford Courant reports the author’s historic home in the city is undergoing an extensive remediation effort to clean the damage.
At least five-thousand of the museum’s 16-thousand artifacts are affected, with the problem blamed on a faulty heating and cooling system and leaky roof that have since been repaired.
