The 50-year-old arena is short on money and might have to close, with the board wanting to know what community support exists. Member Jack Pearson told the Post they also met with MLA Derek Mombourquette last week.

A 21-year-old woman is set to face arson charges after Saturday night’s fire in Wagmatcook. An apartment building went ablaze around 9:30, displacing five residents. No one was hurt.
