A recall has been issued for Schneider’s Gourmet World salt and vinegar, and dill pickle seasonings. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says they contain milk that’s not declared on the label, and that other brand products could be recalled.

New Zealand authorities say it’s the worst they’ve ever seen as more than 400 pilot whales have beached themselves at a remote spot. Farewell Spit appeares to confuse whales as this kind of thing has happened there before, but not like this. About three-quarters of the current ones have died.
