Three people were forced out of their home in Milford because of a fire around 6:00 yesterday morning.

Nobody was hurt when flames caused extensive damage to the building on Highway 2 which house a pizza shop and convenience store on the ground floor with living quarters in the back and top floor.

A woman, her 7 year old daughter and a nephew are staying with relatives for now and the red cross is helping with emergency supplies.

RCMP are searching for a missing man in the Monastery area after his vehicle was found abandoned on East Tracadie Road at Barrios Beach.

Effforts to locate the owner of the vehicle were unsuccessful leading to the launch of a search for the midding man identified as 23 year old Craig Joseph Perry of Afton. He was last seen around 1:00 Saturday morning leaving a residence in Linwood.

RCMP had a helicopter up in the area along with a ground search team and the Dive team.
