SIRT response to Clayton Miller update

SIRT has responded to a news conference held by the lawyer for Clayton Miller’s family.

Ray Wagner says there’s new evidence in the disappearance and death of the teen after a drinking party in New Waterford…that a search was conducted of a stream the day before Miller’s body was found and his body wasn’t there.

SIRT, which cleared the police department of any wrongdoing in the death after an investigation in 2014 and 2015, says it was told by the fire department in New Waterford that no such search had been conducted. The police watchdog says it will follow up on the information provided by Wagner yesterday and determine what impact it has on conclusions of the previous investigation.
