Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Sydney Mines woman.
40 year old Elisha Jo Anne MacLean is wanted for failing to appear in court for a hearing on a fraud charge against her which was laid in 2015.

Jane Paul Mi’kmaq Women’s Resource Centre grant
The Jane Paul Mi’kmaq Women’s Resource Centre for Indigenous women is getting a $40,000 grant.
Volunteer coordinator Helen marshall says the money from the province is coming at a crucial time because they are limited to two part time staff. She’d like to see a full time social worker. The Minister in charge of the status of women Joanne Bernard recognized the need for the centre but couldn’t commit to ongoing funding.
