Parisioners of a south end Sydney church, damaged in the Thanksgiving flood, are giving thanks it’s opening again in time for Easter.
St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic Church has been closed since the flooding. Not everything has been fixed, but enough that Reverand Bill Burke says they can hold services this weekend.
The investigation continues into that deadly fire near Mabou Tuesday.
The name of the 49 year old woman who died still hasn’t been released. Her body was found downstairs in the house in Glencoe. A 56 year old man suffered minor injuries when he escaped from an upstairs bedroom.
The Mounties are still looking for the cause with the help of the fire marshall.
