Emera’s first subsea cable for the Maritime Link has been successfully laid. The first of two was safely anchored at Point Aconi on Sunday after installation began April 27th at Cape Ray, NL. Installing the second cable is expected to start in June.

Albert Bridge blaze
Invesatigators are looking for the cause of a fire that gutted a house in Albert Bridge Sunday.
No one was home at the time of the fire on Island View Lane and nobody was hurt.
