There was another incident Saturday at Inverness Beach.
Lifeguards mansaged to rescue a man, woman; and their daughter after they got caught in rough surf about 250 to 300 metres outside of the supervised area. One of the family members and one of the rescuers received medical attention after swallowing water.
Construction will cause some headaches for drivers at a major intersection in Sydney today (Monday).
Detours will be in place for work on the waterline around George and Townsend Streets. Transit routes will also face detours and delays which are expected to be in place all day. Businesses will remain open but getting to them could be difficult. CBRM is advising you to use alternate routes if possible.
