The Municipal and Other Authorities Pension Plan Transfer Act has been introduced. It could help local governments and other public sector organizations transfer their pension plans into the Public Service Superannuation Plan. University plans were transferred last year.

All NS pharmacies now connected to Drug Information System
All 305 Nova Scotia pharmacies are now connected to the Drug Information System. It allows pharmacists, doctors and other healthcare providers to share information about a patient’s medication history. The next phase is underway, and expanding the system to providers in the community and hospital system.
