The former Warden of Richmond County has lost his newest job.

Steve Sampson took a leave of absence to work in the Liberal Caucas office in Halifax.  Now he no longer works there.  Premier McNeil and other party officials were dodging questions about how Sampson left, whether he was fired or resigned; and whether it’s because of the expense scandal in Richmond County.

Nobody was hurt when flames ripped through a large building on the waterfront in Big Bras D’Or Monday.

Three people got out of the building, which used to be a fish plant; unscathed.  The three were working on a fishing boat in the building.  No word on the cause.
