A new documentary has been approved through the provincial film and TV fund. East Coast Fame Game, produced by Fame Game Productions, has a commitment of $22,912 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of $79,010. East Coast Fame Game is a working title, with the official one to be announced later.

SIRT releases 2015-16 annual report
SIRT has released its 2015-16 annual report. The Nova Scotia police watchdog did 26 investigations between April 1st, 2015 and March 31st. Halifax Regional Police were the subject of the most at seven, followed by Cape Breton Regional Police and out-of-province agencies with six each. The RCMP were investigated three times; New Glasgow, Westville, Amherst and Annapolis Royal once each.
