On the ice, the Devils trimmed the Leafs 5-4 in a shootout. Jets lost 3-1 to Minnesota, as Calgary blanked the Blue Jackets 2-0. The Canucks handled Arizona 4-1, while the Oilers outshot the Avalanche 6-3. The Penguins dominated the Rangers 6-1.
On the hardwood, the Raptors rode into Houston and beat the Rockets 115-102.
Information and Privacy Commissioner Catherine Tully is recommending the health authority move away from faxed referrals. An investigation into three breaches of sensitive mental health information found faxing was to blame. Referrals were meant for the Bedford-Sackville Community Mental Health Clinic, but ended up at a Bedford business.
