The Medavie Health Foundation is providing $600,000 for post-secondary mental health care. Pathway Through Mental Health Care for Postsecondary Settings is a three-year initiative. Framework will be field tested at participating Nova Scotia and PEI schools including Mount Saint Vincent, Saint Mary’s and StFX universities, as well as Nova Scotia Community and Holland colleges.

Flag raising for HIV-AIDS Awareness Week and World AIDS Day
The red-ribbon flag commemorating HIV-AIDS Awareness Week and World AIDS Day was raised today at Province House. About 17 Nova Scotians tested positive for HIV last year, and 828 people developed AIDS here since testing began in 1983.
