The province will buy 11 P3 schools when leases expire in November 2020. It had to give notice to buy, surrender or extend the lease of 13 of them by tomorrow. $50.5 million is being spent, with the province to surrender rights to two Sydney schools. The Cape Breton Victoria Regional School Board will close them, as per a vote.

“Klutzy the Klown” remains in jail
A Sydney man will remain behind bars on sex charges after being denied bail.
51 year old Dale Rancourt, known as Klutzy the Klown; is facing sex chareges involving a girl under 16 and also breaching conditions of his initial release in October.
Rancourt will be back in court on December 12th to enter pleas.
