The longtime owner of our radio stations has passed away in Toronto.

Norris Nathanson was the manager of our stations on the Island until selling them to Maritime Broadcasting in the late 1990s.  The Nathanson family were the pioneers of radio broadcasting in Cape Btreton, opening the first station here in the late 1920s.

A snowfall warning is in effect for most of the province.

We’re expecting more flurries through the day like we’ve been getting through the weekend, then the heavier stuff beginning this evening with wind blowing it around reducing visibility.

Could be around 15 centimeters.
