Tory critic Moore releases end-of-year opinion piece

Conservative Critic for Atlantic Canada Rob Moore has released an end-of-year opinion piece.  In it he says one of the main things people tell him is how they think the Trudeau government is taking the region for granted.  Moore points to the new ACOA minister being from Ontario, and the attempt to replace a Nova Scotian Supreme Court judge with someone from away, among other things.

Province amends legal brief in Alton Gas Appeal

The province has amended its legal brief in the Alton Gas Appeal.  It withdrew a number of arguments related to duty to consult, and affirms it has a constitutional duty to consult.  The province’s main argument is that it did consult extensively with First Nations on the project.
