RCMP have located the body of 82-year-old Katherine Marquerite MacLean who was reported missing from her residence earlier today.
At approximately 2 p.m. RCMP Air Services located the body of Mrs. MacLean a short distance from her residence. Foul play is not suspected, however the investigation is continuing.
The YMCA’s Youth-Skills Link project is getting funding from Ottawa. Sydney-Victoria MP Mark Eyking announced $644,543 for the project this week.
The Cape Breton Post reports the project helps young people between 16 and 29 strengthen their leadership and life skills. The focus is on helping youth who face barriers to employment because of disabilities or because they are single parents, or newcomers or live in rural areas.
