In the NHL’s Centennial Classic at BMO Field in Toronto…the Leafs held on for a 5-4 win over the Red Wings in overtime. The Senators lost to the Capitals 2-1 inside in Ottawa.
In the NBA…Raptors beat the Lakers 123-114.
In the NFL…the Patriots wrapped up their regular season with a 35-14 win over Miami. The Packers won their division with a 31-24 victory over the Lions in the late game.
Police and volunteer rescue crews are still searching for missing Cape Breton Teen. 15-year-old Kobe Clarence Pink was last seen on Wednesday night in Sydney Mines. The Cape Breton Regional Police say they have no evidence to suggest foul play but have confirmed the Major Crimes Unit is now investigating Pink’s disappearance. In addition to Ground Search and rescue teams a helicopter from the Department of Natural Resources is searching from the air. Pink is described as roughly 5-foot-five and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a red hooded sweater and black track pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or crime stoppers.
