A Belleisle Creek man walked away from the crash of his ultra-light plane crash with no injuries.
Doug Desruisseau says he crashed his two-seater plane into a tree during takeoff when one of the skis caught something and he veered into some trees at his private airstrip. He was taken to hospital here but wasn’t injured.

Jeff Foster of Riverview told the Times and Transcript their Air Canada flight was late leaving Montreal, otherwise they would have been at the baggage area at the time of the shooting. He says they were stuck on the plane on the tarmac for about 8 hours while police sorted the situation out.
