The New Brunswick Medical Society has released a roadmap to wellness. Doctors have polled residents about how to curb obesity, which is at about 63% of adults province-wide. The seven points made by the society include making healthy food and activity-related education available in schools, improving access to safe active transportation, and a tax on pop for health promotion or subsidizing low incomes.

Snowmobile stolen in Mechanic Lake
RCMP are investigating a snowmobile theft from the Fundy Park trail in Mechanic Lake. It was taken overnight Friday into Saturday, near marker 10 by Route 114. It’s a white 2013 Ski-Doo 1200 Renegade, with New Brunswick plate XV7 412.
