Stormy weather continues

It’s yet another snow day with schools closed again in Anglophone South.

It’s the third storm in less than a week…but this one shouldn’t last as long.

Environment Canada issued a Winter Storm Warning again with as much as of 30cms of snow in some areas…although the forecast calls for 15-20 in Saint John and the Kennebecasis valley. Winds will be gusting around 80kph again causing blowing and drifting snow.

Watermain break

Besides all the snow, city crews had to deal with a watermain break yesterday.

A boil order was issued for part of the east side bounded by Upland Road, Reading Crescent and Roxbury Drive. There also could be extra ice buildup in the area because of the water…and today’s snow isn’t helping matters.
