Drug dealer convicted of criminal negligence
A Saint John man will be sentenced in April after a judge found him guilty of criminal negligence causing death in a drug case.
28 year old Richard Valiquette sold a designer drug to 17 year old Gavin Adams before the teen was found dead in a snowbank in December 2013. The judge ruled Valiquette knew the ingredients in the psychedelic drug were labelled not fit for human consumption and is responsible for the death. He remains free on conditions until a sentencing hearing in April.
