The fire that destroyed a popular wedding venue in Kings County has been confirmed as arson.
Hampton RCMP are asking anyone who has information on the fire or who saw a car leaving the area the night of February 14th to call them.
The 70 year old barn will be rebuilt…but the owners say they likely won’t be able to get it done in time for this spring and summer’s wedding season.
The City of Vancouver is launching another legal challenge to try to stop the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.
Council members have voted to hold a judicial review of the province’s environmental assessment of the project. Last summer, the council aso launched a legal challenge of the National Energy Board’s approval.
The pipeline expansion will mean seven times more tanker traffic in Burrard Inlet in the heart of Vancouver.
