There are now three people in the race to replace NDP leader Tom Mulcair.

Quebec MP Guy Caron joins Ontario MP Charlie Angus and B-C’s Peter Julian. Caron, a former economist, is positioning himself as someone with  financial experience.

Interac says its e-transfer and Interac Online services are up and running again following an outage yesterday evening.

A technical issue knocked the network off line for about five hours, but it hasn’t said yet how. Numerous users awaiting e-transfers hit social media with complaints very quickly.
