Bird infection spreading
A contagious bird infection is spreading through Atlantic Canada, including New Brunswick. The Nova Scotia Bird Society says finches are getting trichomoniasis, a throat infection that leaves them unable to swallow. President Dave Currie told CBC people should take down their feeders and bird baths for the summer, and clean them with a bleach solution that’s diluted.
