Adjournment in case of men charged with assaulting Dennis Oland

The assault case against two Halifax men charged with beating Dennis Oland in a New Brunswick prison last summer has been adjourned.

Lawyers for Cody Alexander Muise and Aaron Marriott wanted more time for consultations before they enter pleas. They’ll be back in court April 27.

Oland was attacked at the Atlantic Institution in Renous after being convicted of murdering his father…a decision which has since been overturned and a new trial ordered.
