A 19 year old man is facing charges after a home invasion and attempted robbery yesterday morning in the south end.

Police say one of the residents of the home fought back and the suspects fled.

Police arrested a young man and woman in another nearby residence but released the woman without charge.

Black’s Harbour is under a boil order after a break in a major water line caused by a construction crew Tuesday night.

The pipe has been fixed…but the boil order remains in effect today and maybe tomorrow. They need to get three clear test results in a row.
