EMO is keeping a close eye on water levels after some flooding in Bathurst on the weekend caused by an ice jam in Middle River.
They also say water levels on the St. John River in Fredericton are expected to remain near flood stage for the next 48 hours, then drop.

New figures from the Immigration and Refugee Board show that March recorded the highest number yet of new claims so far this year…110 compareed to 85 in February and 71 in January. That’s 266 in just the first three months compared to 241 in all of last year. One of the main reasons is Canada dropped the requirement for Mexdicans to get a visa before coming here.
