Fire crews were called out at 1:30 this morning to another apartment fire.
This one was a vacant building on Princess Street. Residents of neighbouring apartment buildings were evacuated for awhile but they’re back in their apartments. One fire fighter suffered minor injuries. The cause is under investigation.
A St. Stephen man will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to slashing another man with a knife.
24 year old Tyler Kurt Kyle Hartford called 911 on February 27th to say police should be sent to a residence on Union Street in St. Stephen or he was going to kill someone in a dispute between neighbours.
He pleaded guilty in court to assault causing bodily harm. Hartford had been in custody since April 1st…but the judge released him on conditions until sentencing May 18.
